5:30 came in hot and heavy this morning at The Mount. Gotta love this humidity. Blah, blah, blah. Enough about the weather.

Warm-up: Good mornings, ATT, SSH, LAC–> RAC, then Flex led us in some iron cross leg stretches.

We next moseyed to the block pile doing an Indian Run with squats. PAX at the back had to do 5 squats and then run to the front of the line and so on…

The Thing: Each Pax grabbed a block and we circled up. I brought out my trusty deck of cards and we got after it. Each Pax took a turn drawing a card and the corresponding workout went as follows:

Number on the Card x 2. 10’s, Jacks, Queens, Kings and Aces all counted as 10. Joker’s were a Players Choice.

Diamond = Overhead Press

Spade = Curls

Hearts = Triceps Dip

Clubs = Block Merkins

Each block exercise  was paired with a little cardio done at the side parking lot at Walgreens

Diamond = Lunge walk

Spade =Bear crawl

Hearts = Sprint

Clubs = Crab walk

We did one round with these and the next round was modified with a lap around Walgreens.

We moseyed back to the flag for a little LBC’s and RBC’s to finish out the morning.

A good time was had by all.
