Twas a cold breezy morning. I assumed no one would show. As I pulled in, only Baby Face was there. Then literally Gump, Spokes and myself all pulled in at the same time. 4 PAX ready to take on the cold morning. I said, “I guess this is it, no way Snips is going to show. Its way to cold for him.” Then at 5:14:59 Snips comes in on 2 wheels. He made it! But whats this?!?!? The man who normally wears a minimum of 3 layers get out of the car with shorts on! Even Baby Face was in pants this morning. So we had to take a selfie just so the world would know that Snips made it and was wearing shorts.

Lined up at one end of the parking lot. The PAX would walk the length of the parking lot stopping at each line to complete the following exercise. Each one was done down and back.

We spoke through the story of Cain and Able. God came to Cain before and after he murdered his brother. He came the first time to caution Cain not to do it. But after Cain killed his brother, God came back to him. I was shocked when I studied this that God didn’t come accusing Cain. He didn’t come with wrath. He came with a simple question. Where is your brother? God was testing Cain’s heart. Cain failed the test, but there is an important lesson for us. God met him both times with Grace. We need to be conscious of his voice before we give into temptation. But when we fail, we still need to listen for him and ask for forgiveness.
