Car after car, some of confused parents looking to either drop off a child, and some county sheriff patrollers… flooded our workout space (“Do not arouse the wrath of the great and powerful F3!”…and pay no attention to the man leading the Q!) All in all, there was confusion for the poor ROTC’ers. (*Make a Note: the two officers on patrol were invited to a group called F3 which takes place every weekday at 5:30am and Saturday’s at 6:30am….)

Amidst the clear lack of leadership the ROTC folks were experiencing, “Men Got Better Today”. We delighted in the wonderful, NON-CAFFEINE inspired workout planned by your, one and only, Kleenex! (Yes, yes, this one brought the Men to tears…!). And you guessed it: “Men Got Better Today”!

Needless to say, I modified! But this was all part of the plan! I mean, who REALLY wanted to run the bleachers and track anyway?? Wait….that would have been awesome! But I digress. And it didn’t stop us. Why? Because, “Men Got Better Today”.

We finished strong, with strong reps of core abdominal work, all the while directing random cars of “drive by’s”… (Did I mention cars of confused folks were still looking for ROTC…?!!). We huffed, and we puffed, but our Foundations remained strong!! Why? Because during our Reflection Time (see photos below), we realized that we Christ Centered Brothers of F3 hold The Truth, The Hope and The Way for those who need Peace, Comfort, and Power/Strength in whatever present trial we face! (#FaithFellowshipFitness)

Finally, 7:30am came, and 7:30am went. Another Saturday down. Men departed for our regular post-workout diner, City BBQ, for some joking and poking (TWSS!). And guess what? “Men Got Better Today”.

Plank for 30 seconds, into Right Side Plank, hold for 30 seconds, go into Left side plank hold for 30 seconds, return to Plank position and hold right leg up for 30 seconds, right leg down, left leg up hold for 30 seconds, return to Plank and drop to Elbow Plank for 30 seconds.

  1. Wait a minute – 2 questions:

    1. Did Men Get Better Today? – well they sure did under the enthusiastic leadership of Dru1 and Dru2 later.

    2. Where is the ROTC meeting? – really? come on ROTC leadership tell the kids where to meet, ok? Well who knows, maybe they did and the kids didn’t listen??

    Finally – really enjoyed the workout. really really enjoyed reading about it later.
