YHC posted on FB page the night before that we would be serving up Big Mac’s, sorry, actually Dirty Mac’s @ Hurler. Here’s out it all went down:
The Thang:
Warm-ups – x15 reps
- Little arm circles
- Abe Vigodas
- High Knees
- Humpies
- Side straddle hops
Moseyed to wall @ Bank just past Granite Drug
Dirty Mac Deuces – consists of 1 upper body, 1 core, 1 leg routine
Set 1 – Derkins, LBC’s, Step-ups @ short wall – x12 reps IC
Moseyed to parking lot @ Coca Cola museum
Set 2 – Merkins, RBC’s, Lunges – x12 reps IC
Moseyed to side road past Funeral Home
Set 3 – Wide arm merkins, Freddy Mercuries, Squats – x12 reps IC
Moseyed to park lot @ local business
Set 4 – Power merkins (these were not easy), American hammers, Prisoner squats
Moseyed to back of Church parking lot where it was time for Burps & Merks
1 burpee followed by 1 merkin, then 1 burpee followed by 2 merkins – we worked our way up to 1 burpee & 10 merkins
Moseyed to front parking lot of Middle School where we reversed the Burp & Merk order
1 burpee followed by 10 merkins – we worked our way down to 1 burpee & 6 merkins
Moseyed to parking lot @ Flick Video where we completed the Burps & Merks
1 burpee followed by 5 merkins – we worked our way down to 1 burpee & 1 merkin
Moseyed to wall near flag where we performed 20 each of Muhammad Ali’s & Joe Frazier’s
Moseyed back to flag where we finished off with 20 dying cockroaches

YHC discussed one of the main causes of divorce is the lack Communication. In a Christian marriage there are 3 partners – husband, wife & Jesus Christ. If we are having difficulty communicating with our spouse, we might want to 1st check our individual communication and devotional time with God. God fulfills his design for Christian marriage when lines of Communication are first opened to Him.
Moleskin
This is the 1st time in quite a while YHC was able to Q a workout due to a knee issue. As a matter of point, this was only the 2nd workout YHC had participated in after a 6 week layoff. This was probably the most moseying this YHC has “ever” done while Q’ing (always tried to protect the knee). YHC heard a few grumbles and a lot of groaning, especially with the partner merkins. You wouldn’t think 12 reps would be too difficult, but put a planking partner’s legs on your back & try it. What a privilege it was again to lead this great group of men from Granite Falls. I just hope that I didn’t disappoint too much. I know I sure worked up a good sweat.
