QIC:  Twig

Who is the Q? Everyone was asking this at Hurler this morning.  Someone said: I think that it might be Twig.  I grabbed my iPhone to look at the schedule, and they were right.  What’s funny is that on Monday, I remember knowing that I was going to be the Q, but by the time that Thursday got here, I had forgotten.  Gee whizz!  I was able to piece together some bits and pieces from previous Q’s and hopefully the men got a good workout.

Warmups X 15

  • SSH
  • Imperial Storm Troopers
  • Alternating Toe Touches

We mosied to the town square.  We did 10 each of the following exercises.  Between each exercise we ran one lap around the town square.

We mosied to the loading dock of a nearby warehouse.  We did 4 Merkins and jumped up on the loading dock which was about 5′ high. We ran up an inclining ramp and down the stairs at the end of the ramp, and back to the loading dock, where we did the routine again.  We did this on our own 10 times.

We mosied to the wall on the side of the Pet Store downtown and did the following wall exercises, 10 each and a rinse and repeat:

  • Mohammed Ali’s
  • Joe Fraziers

  • Itsy Bitsy Spiders

Staying at the wall we did the following wall exercises, 10 each and a rinse and repeat:

  • Itsy Bitsy Spiders

We mosied to the block pile, grab one block each, and went up to the sidewalk beside the road.  We did 10 each of the following block exercises, and then a rinse and repeat but cutting it back to 4 reps.

  • Curls for Girls
  • Stand Up Rows
  • Kettle Bell Swings
  • Overhead Presses
  • Bench Presses
  • Skull Crushers

Put up the blocks and mosied back to the starting point.

Name-a-rama

Devotion was about how we should use the example of Jesus when we reach out to others, especially those who we may not be sure are believers.  Jesus reached out to the woman at the well, the adulteress woman, Zacchaeus, and the Roman centurion, and he gave them all hope.  We should give others, even those we may think are non-believers, hope.
