  AO:  Prison Break

I arrived early and that happens once a year. I was welcomed by SWINGAAAAAA! I asked him how he was doing and he said “I’m too blessed to be stressed”. That was an awesome statement at 5:13 am. Then Bismarck and Spokes showed up and we got started.

Warmup – Humpees, Windmill, Hairy Rockettes, SSH, High knees

Then we moseyed to the Hill close to the ATM down main street.

We partnered up – Partner 1 did LBC’s (AMRAP) while Partner 2 ran to the bottom of the hill and did 10 Merkins, then the partners traded off. We did three sets.

then we did the same exercise but Partner 1 did Squats (AMRAP) this time and we did 3 sets of that as well.

During those exercises Bismarck was bringing up a lot of 80’s bands and the band BLOW MONKEYS came up and that was the first time I have ever heard of that band and the name made me chuckle.

Here is a link to one of their songs for reference:

We then moseyed to the square where “the pour house” is. The next exercise was similar to the first.

We partnered up and we did Partner 1 planked while partner 2 lunge walked 1 side of the square. then the partners traded off. We did 3 sets of that.

Then we went back to the AO and it was pouring rain and we did “air chairs” on the side of Central Church Gym

Last Exercise – Muhammad Ali’s, Joe Frasier’s, Penguin, Overhead claps.

COT – Find time this week to get alone with GOD and be completely quiet and still and listen for GOD to speak to you.

A Psalm of David.

23 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He makes me lie down in green pastures.
He leads me beside still waters.[a]
    He restores my soul.
He leads me in paths of righteousness[b]
    for his name’s sake.

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,[c]
    I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
    your rod and your staff,
    they comfort me.
