Warm-up: SSH, GTS, LBAC, ATT, Humping
Mosey to amphitheater- begin Route 66: stop 1=burpee, Bobby Hurley, monkey humper, Bonnie Blair (e), smurf jack, merkin. YHC proceeded to lead pax to 10 more different spots throughout downtown Conover. At each spot, you add a rep. For those of you that aren’t math genius’, that’s 66 reps of each exercise…yep, you just figured out the name…good job!
Once back to the pad, we did one round of Easy V’s…just because their fun.
WOD: Be curious, not judgmental – Ted Lasso. Are you a backblast reader? If so, I know what you’re thinking…didn’t he use that in his last backblast. Yep…and you know what that’s what you get to do when you a Q two workouts in less than 10 hrs, get off me. Anyway, where was I…oh yeah, be more curious. Ask a man some question to get to know him before you pass judgement on him and his choices. When we judge right away, we miss an opportunity to connect with a man, and connection is where lives get changed.
Challenge: Be mindful during your day, and when you’re about to judge a man…ask him a question instead, and get to know him. You’ll likely look at his situation differently.
Moleskin:
-I’m not a runner, so it’s fun when I Q and I’m the only one that knows where we’re going…it’s the only time I’m out front.
-Monkey humpers are always better at busy intersections.
-396 reps is a lot, especially when you count Bonnie Blairs as both legs = one 1 rep.
-I’ve always loved the tour of Conover workouts. It’s a great town, and I love to see the looks on peoples’ faces at intersections as they watch of do stupid stuff.
Hey, keep EH’ing!
Medball out
