First of all…..can we talk about the password for the F3Foothills account……I mean geeze-a-lou. I ended up with like a 32 character password to get in here and write a backblast. I don’t have to try as hard to hack Spokes work email and send out promiscuous emails to the ladies. PBR, can you do something about that????
Anyway, back to the backblast….
So I rolled in a couple minutes before time and found the usual suspects. Just a group of HIMs that are dedicated to this F3 thing. I want to pause a minute to recognize these dudes. Spokes, PBR, Swinger and Bismarck are as dedicated to Prison Break as they come. These guys kept the lights on when numbers were way down. Its because of them we didn’t hang this thing up and I’m thankful for the constant EH from these dudes to get back out there and be able to call myself a regular again. Also, before I forget, been meaning to thank Swinger for planting the flag religiously at PB. That dudes a HIM. Once last thought, I’m also thankful for the encouragement from Medball on the New Years day ascent on Hibriten where he encourage me to keep getting at it and the numbers will come. He kept the lights on at the Station and just look at those dudes now. Posting double digits on the regular and even a Pre run…….and even a Pre Pre run…….thats some dudes right there.
So we did workout this morning.
Warm-up
- LAC/RLAC – (by the way, I hate that every workout starts with SSH. Why is that?)
- Windmills
- Humpies
- Then I made the mistake of calling on Swinger and he called Mountain Climbers……..never again
The Thang
- Mosey to the Police station for some calf raises, because thats what I do every Q
- Up the hill to hospice for 20 merkins/squats/LBCs
- Down the hill to that church and ran the stairs for a hot minute
- Across the road to that other church 20 Dimond Merkins/Lunges/and another ab workout I can’t recall at the moment
- Ran the steps there for another hot minute
- Ran to Davenport school so we could honor the traitor that is BabyFace with a Bernie up the Hill
- At the top we did 20 wide arm merkins/Reverse Lunges/and Wheezies? – I honestly have no idea why I can’t remember that ab workouts. I need to get that checked
- Mosey to Lightbulbs house for 10 monkey humpers then down the street to my pastor’s house for more moneky humpers…..you know…..for respect and everything
- Mosey to Samaritans Purse popup tent at the hospital for handclap merkins, Al Gore, RBCs?
- Moseyed up that stupid long slow climb to that bank in downtown Lenoir for exploding merkins, Bobby Hurley’s, and maybe RBCs here and not the hospital?
- Back to the AO for the Febreze Routine. 2 BB/10 Overhead Press holding 6 inches – 4 BB/20 Overhead – 6 BB/30 OH – 8 BB/40 OH – 10 BB/50 OH.
- We still had some time so we went and ran another hill, because I hate hills and I got up to get better this morning.

Today was all about respect. I’ve been blessed to work for a company that has allowed me to stay at home during the pandemic. Honestly, this has been one of the best years of my life. I’ve made memories with my kids, my marriage is stronger than its ever been, and I feel better than I have in a long time. But thats not the story for a lot of folks. A lot of people have had to strap their boots on and go to work every day and that is who we honored this morning.
- We went to Hospice to honor our brother CropDuster(respect)
- We stopped at the church to honor Goodwill, Friar, and Shoebox
- We stopped at the school to honor Goodwill and PBRs wife
- We sopped at lightbulbs house to continue to honor pastors
- We stopped at Samaritans Purse to honor Shoebox
- and we stopped at the bank to honor BabyFace – even though he is a traitor…..I bet the Granite guys don’t honor you bro
Its an honor to go to the Gloom with men like this, so today we raise a glass for these folks!
Moleskins
- PBR always brings the familiar scents of last nights dinner, so the Febreze routine was to really take care of that problem
- BabyFace is a traitor…..did I mention that?
- Can anyone remember the Ab exercises…….I must be getting old
