Merry Christmas from The Station!! This morning was our annual Christmas Costumed Beatdown. 5 pax for pre pre run, 13 for pre run/ruck, and 15 for The Christmas Tree Bonanza Q’ed by @Lipsync. Also a great morning to welcome a new PAX – Welcome Tailspin!
6 stations around Conover, 12 exercises, 250 reps, and a Christmas tree! 25 dips on a four count, 25 deep squats, 25 monkey humpers on a four count for all of Conover to enjoy, 25 Bonnie Blair’s, 25 squat jumps, ABC’s, 25 hand release merkins, 25 up/downs, and 25 burpees to round out the morning – and the Christmas tree made the whole trip with us. And don’t forget the BEAR CRAWLS!!
Finished with WOD and prayer. WOD was ‘HOPE.’ Because Jesus became flesh, like us, and took on the payment for our sin on the cross, our greatest enemy has been defeated. Jesus has solved our biggest problem — sin leading to death. Now, as believers in Christ, we no longer have to fear death. In every trial and struggle in life, because of Christ, we have HOPE! Thank you Jesus!
We finished the morning at a local eatery for coffee and breakfast. Lots of eggs, bacon, and pancakes the size of frisbees. I think our waitress had to take the rest of the day off once we left, as she was introduced to some of the F3 ways. All in all, a great morning with fantastic exercise and fellowship!
