QIC:  Cousin Eddie

I’m still riding a high from last night’s 3rd F Event.  Thanks again Flex Seal, it was everything that I had hoped it would be and more.  I know what you and Dragonfly were doing this am, so you two are absolutely excused for not seeing yall at ER this am.

I had a quick moment of reflection this am and your words really soaked in.  We’re all a part of F3 due to the butterfly effect.  You know the fable of how a hurricane is created by a butterfly flapping his wings halfway across the planet?   That’s how F3 works.  Let me get specific:

In the summer of 2014, Tooth Fairy showed up to Highland Rec where several of us played pick-up basketball.  After everyone was winding down and shooting the breeze, TF stands up and gives everyone there the Emotional Headlock to join him at a F3 workout.  That’s what we’re told to do right?  Give it away.  The result of TF’s speech was that Beaker decided to post.  Beaker then tells me about it and I posted.  Then I told Powder and he decided to post.  Powder mentions it to Bing who posts.  Somewhere along the road, Bing gets involved w/ the Speed for Need guys and brings the race chairs to a race in Newton.  That’s the same race that Flex Seal signed up for.  Flex sees how cool and awesome those F3 dudes looked and decides to look us up and he posts.  Now Flex is giving it away, running OG as our Site Q, and changing lives by bringing some much needed 3rd F to our community.

Looking way back to that day in ’14, what would that F3 Hickory look like if Tooth Fairy didn’t have the stones to stand up in front of a bunch of loud mouthed jerks and tell us about F3?  Who’s life will you change by asking them to post with you?

I may be putting words in your mouth, but your life changed when you finally decided to post, didn’t it?  I know it has for me.  Taking that Red Pill was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.

Are you giving F3 away?  Are you telling your boys how awesome it is?  You should be.  I have several friends that think I’m an idiot for posting with yall.  I still hope that one day they’ll see what good F3 can do for them and their families.  I’m convinced that it will happen one day and they’ll wonder why it took so long for them to take that Red Pill.  Until then, I’m going to keep trying to feed it to them.

Out,

CEd
