Rain and cold—”I’ll keep it under the sails,” I thought.  Okay, who left all this crap under here?  Chairs and tables . . . and a slew of giant planters?  Okay, we’ll make do.  I take a short scouting jog and on my return see that everyone has arrived and found a spot under the sails.  Disclaimer and go!

Warmup

The Thang

Mosey down to the parking garage next to Lindy’s and find a spot on the wall.

Walk to the center of the parking lot and COP for some yoga.

Mosey up Trade Alley and 2nd St SW, then down Government Ave past the Old Hickory Station to a parking lot.

Mosey to the tall staircase leading to the railroad track.

Mosey back up Government Ave and Bear Crawl the entire length of the wall in front of Old Hickory Station.

Mosey back to the sails.

Partner up for two stations:

Mosey around the block and get on live TV (we think) when we pass the Fox 14 reporter on 1st Ave Northwest.  I heard him say that a group of runners were passing by, then he asked us if we were ready for snow as he turned his camera on us.  We whooped and hollered and kept on trucking back to the sails.

  1. Thanks for the opportunity to lead and for not giving me a hard time about the yoga.  At least it kept us out of the rain for a bit.
  2. I wasn’t able to find a clip of our 15 seconds of fame.  I wonder if we really were on live.  Still looking for that snow he mentioned.
  3. Pushing the planter boxes wasn’t quite as challenging as I hoped, but it was fun.  Hopefully they get all that stuff cleared out of there for the next rainy day.

Peace,

Deuce
