Monkey see, Monkey do. Copy and paste. Copy cat. Call it however you see it because I’m not ashamed to let you know that I rarely have an original idea, but Your Boy is fairly talented at taking someone else’s idea and trying to make to make it horribler. Or is it worster? Badder?
When ole man Abraham left us for the Swamp, he did a farewell tour that he dubbed the Parade of Horribles. Don’t get all weepy on me, I’m not moving and I don’t think anyone else is but we do have a thing coming up at the end of March.
That thing is our 5 year celebration convergence on 3/30/18.
Five years! Dang, that’s something to behold. I don’t know much about what’s going down for the Convergence but I do know that it’s in the hands of some folk though. We have all of our Original Redwoods on the Task Force: Taz, HBC, Markup, Cropduster, and Dilbert so I know it will be good.
The biggest difference between Abe’s POH is that it took him 7 days to complete. 2019 version will be done in 5 (correction, 6 days). Apologies in advance for not being able to fit every single AO in this schedule. It is literally impossible. Please do not be butt hurt….just show up and have fun.
So to get you ready for the 5th Year Convergence, I present to you the 2019 version of Parade of Horribles.
In order to qualify, you must post to ALL of the following:
Monday: ER (Hickory) AND SoCal (Granite Falls)
Tuesday: The Station (Conover) AND Taylorsville/Rocky Face*
Wednesday: Stargate (Lenoir) run
Thursday: Mount (Mountain View)
Friday: combination of either: Pre-Ruck and Ram or Pre-Run and Ruck and Roll (Hickory). You must do both a Ruck and a Run. No double Ruck or double Run allowed.
Saturday: pre-run Convergence AND Convergence
* Location for Taylorsville is TBD depending on Rocky Face hours.
That’s it. 10 workouts in 5 (6…come on Cuz) days. Come get some.
Miss a workout? No point for you, but you can still come out and join in on the fun.
