4 PAX posted @ SoCal for a muggy, warm evening in downtown Granite Falls.

Warm-ups x 15 reps – in cadence

Moseyed to Granite Drug parking lot.

YHC gave a brief explanation of a gross.  In Purchasing, a gross = 144 (ex: 12 pens/box x 12 boxes = 1 gross or 144 pens).  The magic number here is 144 (as in reps).  During this routine, there will be 4 grosses @ different locations  with 4 different exercises (12 reps) each performed 3x or 576 total reps.

Here we go:

Gross #1 – performed 3x

Moseyed to parking lot @ the Coke Museum

Gross #2 – performed 3x

Moseyed to Block Pile where we each grabbed a coupon

Gross #3 – performed 3x

Moseyed back to Flag

Gross #4 – performed 3x

With just enough time left the PAX performed 10 decline merkins.

Count off & name-o-rama

WOD – From the Power of Purpose F3 Q

Philippians 1: 12-14 – Now I want you to know, brothers and sisters, that what has happened to me has actually served to advance the gospel.  As a result, it has become clear throughout the whole palace guard and to everyone else that I am in chains for Christ.  And because of my chains, most of the brothers and sisters have become confident in the Lord and dare all the more to proclaim the gospel without fear.

Would Paul had been forgiven had he chosen to take a little sabbatical as he sat in prison awaiting trial – probably.  Yet he used this opportunity to advance the Gospel.  Paul was a leader who never drifted from his mission (purpose).  He was determined to leave his mark wherever he went.

Power of Purpose:

What is our purpose in life?  Who/what are we living for?

MOLESKIN

What an awesome workout & you can count on seeing this one come back around in the future.  For now, YHC’s winkies are filed away as I approach a knee replacement in a few weeks.  I will miss the workouts with my fellow F3 Granite Falls brothers, but will not miss a good breakfast on Saturday mornings.  I have enjoyed Q’ing these past 2 years & there will be more in the future as we work to “Get Better Together.”  Remember “We Don’t Do Easy.”
