Weather:  Purt nice

Roadkill was on the Q schedule for this am.  Since hide nor hair of him has been seen in while, YHC had a feeling that he wasn’t going to show up.  After Publix unsuccessfully tried to Text Shame him into the Q, your boy decided to come up with something fun.

Went like this:  BLIMP AMRAP

starting at the corner of Whatever Ave and No Name St, enter the first stairwell.  5 burpees at the top

bottom of stairwell, 10 Lunges

run across to enter the bottom of next stairwell, head up for 15 ISS

bottom of 2nd stairwell, 20 Merkins

Run to corner of Hospital Hill and N Center St, 25 Plankjacks

Run to bottom of Hospital Hill, 30 Squats

Then reverse the stops.  5 Burpees at the bottom of Hospital Hill,

Top of HH, 10 Lunges

Top of Stairwell, 15 ISS

Bottom of Stairwell, 20 Merkins

Top Of next Stairwell, 25 Plankjack

Bottom of Stairwell, 30 Squats.

repeat until 6:15

Forgot my phone, so no WOD.  But a thought did occur to me during the time I was sucking wind somewhere between stairwells….I miss a lot of dudes that used to post.  I may sound like a broken record, but there are a lot dudes that simply don’t post anymore.  Too many to list really.  Some have moved, but only some.  Most have just moved on from F3 and I don’t get it.  Reach out to someone that used to post.  You don’t even need to shame them into posting again – although that’s what I’d love to see – just let them know you’re thinking about them.  Maybe that will plant the seed for a return?

Dear Diary,

Well, you know what?  It’s just right for me.  Thanks for holding me accountable.  Thanks for letting me hold you accountable.  Thanks for showing up when you didn’t want to.  Thanks for posting in the rain, snow, freezing rain, thunder, heat, sub zero temps.  Thanks for being there.  It means to world to me.

Ed out.

  1. Just a few observations…
    1) On almost all Sad Clown excuses, #TWSS
    2) Sad clowns require persistence, which is hard sometimes. But we like hard things, right?
    3) When a man reaches a certain age, let’s say almost 57, he realizes more than ever that he needs accountability.
    4) Thanks for holding me accountable too, Brother. I appreciate your leadership. Aye!
