QIC:  Double Bogey

Run and run and run!  Where were the pain station stations?  Oh, that’s right.  You chose to put Double Bogey on Infinity Q list.  Don’t get me wrong my wonderful brothers, I love to Q these things.  Just know that when I Q, there will be a lot of running in my routine.  Running is what gives you the mentality that you can push through anything, that you can overcome anything, that you can CONQUER anything.  Here’s what went down:

For Warmups we did dynamic stretching.  Started with hamstrings, then quads, then groin, then glutes, then calves & shins.

We ran to first station and did 25 LBC’s.

Ran to second station and did hill training.  I believe we went up and down 5 times.

Ran to third station and did American Hammers and Hello Dolly.

Our final station we did a tempo run back to AO.

This was intended to be a hard Run + Pain and I hope it was.  Sometimes you just have to push beyond your ability to reach new goals.  Getting into a new threshold, feeling hurt, feeling new pain, feeling tired and weak, maybe even feeling defeated while you are doing it will bring you a awesome and wonderful  victory of beating your doubts of “I can’t do that” or “I can’t run that far.”  I’m very proud to Q you guys.  You make me want to push beyond my own limits too.  Thanks for allowing me to hurt you with the awesome sport of running.  You all did a good job and did something new that you did not do yesterday.  See, you already accomplished something that you did not think you could do.  And that is to survive a Double Bogey workout.  Just kidding.

Double Bogey out.
