If you were there the Tuesday after Valentines Day at the Mount; and you were running down the hill from Walgreens after the workout, then the title makes perfect sense! What doesn’t make sense though is how tardy this backblast is since that was 16 days ago!!  I have never not written a backblast for a workout that I Q’d and I wasn’t about to start now…..even though it was a close one!

Warm up same as usual….blah blah.  Took the scenic route around the building to the blocks for some incline merkins and some tricep dips and then to the Walgreens drive through pick up window for the workout.  I kind of copied an earlier workout from Halloween that some of you guys might remember from the OG.  It was a Valentines themed workout this time but still included the pain and the candy from the Halloween workout.

Started at the drive through window with 2 heart shaped boxes…one with different candy in it and one with exercises.  I also had a sign with the calories, sugar grams, and fat grams from all of the different types of candy in the box. Basically you pick a piece of candy, pick an exercise and reference the sign.  Calories=reps of whatever exercise, Sugar grams =burpees, and fat grams= laps around the walgreens.  Rinse and repeat until you had some candy for your kids…or yourself, and time runs out.

On the way back to the AO flag, Doughboy made a comment when we were talking about backblast titles….and there it was.  Ask him and he’ll tell ya!

WOD- YHC was convicted the morning before the workout while trolling facebook during my morning constitution when I came upon a story talking about what our spiritual walks would be like if we reached for our bibles when we would normally reach for our phones!  Food for thought….
