OK, I gotta give credit to Udder Butter for the name of this backblast. YHC drove up to Lenoir from Hickory in the BLIZZARD and met up with Double Bogey. We made the usual small talk and reckoned that nobody else would show up so we headed out. I didn’t even look at my watch but it must have been 5:14am, because at 5:15am Old School showed up to run with us but instead he followed our tracks. So sorry about that Old School. It was the Q’s fault…..wait that is me!! 🙂
So we had Premature Joggulation this morning at Stargate. #TWSS
We ran cautiously (translates slow) due to the quickly accumulating snow. We went down Harper Avenue, turned right on Pennton, turned right on Norwood, turned right on some AWFUL hill (don’t remember the name of this road, turned right on Hibriten Avenue, turned right on Ridge street and we finally got to make a LEFT turn on Finnely Avenue, then another left on Main, then a right on West Ave, then a left on a short road, then a left on College Ave, then a right on Willow, then a left on some other road, then a left on Pennton, Then a left on Mulberry, then a left on College, then a right on Main, then a left on Harper and we picked up speed for our last 50 feet and ended back up at the STARGATE. Got it?
When we got back we saw someone had written F3 in the snow – we found later that we had in fact “left a man behind” – sorry about that Old School! Lunch is on me next time!! (for OS, not you!!)
YHC read todays devotion from his devo book “Jesus Talking” which he highly recommends. Double Bogey had an awesome prayer and we were gone.
