Friar posting on behalf of Baby Face
Today was about team building….thru pain! Men that suffer together, stay together!
Warmup – (x15, IC)
Side Straddle Hops
Imperial Storm Troopers
ABAGODAS
Humpies
Arm Circles (forward & reverse)
Then a mosey to the outside of the gym for the Wall of Pain:
– Muhammad Alis, Joe Fraziers and Bus Drivers while in wall Squats (x15, IC)
– Australian Mountain Climbers (x15, IC)(BTTW)
– Australian Merkins (x10, IC)(BTTW)
Next was follow the leader thru wall jumps, stairs, lunge walks, hill sprints and mosey back to the wall to rinse and repeat.
After 2nd time thru, the PAX numbered off and split into 2 teams for Ultimate Frisbee. Modifications were every time the Frisbee hit the ground or went out of bounds, all PAX had to do 1 burpee. At each score, scoring team completed 20 RBCs, while the conceding team had 25 Crunchy Frogs. 30 minutes later, we realized that we are not as athletically gifted as we once were and throwing a Frisbee is harder than it seems. Lots of burpees by all!
Then some time with Mary:
– Reverse Crunch (x15, IC)
– Captain Thor (x10)
– Windshield Whippers (x10, IC)
– Circle of Pain (low plank, 10 Merkins)
Word of the Day: 1st – Romans 15: 5-6 May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had, so that with one mind and one voice you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
2nd – Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 Two are better off than one, because together they can work more effectively. If one of them falls down, the other can help him up. But if someone is alone and falls, it’s just too bad, because there is no one to help him. If it is cold, two can sleep together and stay warm, but how can you keep warm by yourself. Two people can resist an attack that would defeat one person alone. A rope made of three cords is hard to break.
Babyface out!
