The weather was perfect – a strong threat of rain but it held off, but we got HIIT anyway:

This morning we did High Intensity Interval Training – or the best version I could muster.  HIIT involves doing certain exercises at High Intensity for a period of time, then enjoying an Interval – a brief time of rest.  Here we go:

Under the Sails:

On the Parking Deck:

At the base of Wells Fargo:

Beside BB&T:

Through Town, Across Tracks, to Parking Lot by Train Tracks (All Done with a Medium/Heavy Rock):

While Putting our Rocks Away, heard a train blowing it’s lonesome whistle – and we were out of time and on the WRONG side of the tracks.  Prison Break through the parking lot, across tracks while the arm thingies were lowering, the train bearing down on us – yes we could feel the ground rumble and we were blinded by the light and we were deafened by the horn – but we all survived!!

Mosey back to the Sailz for this stuff:

COT – Crop read Philippians 2:1-4 and spoke to the PAX about unity as disciples of Christ, we talked about considering others above ourselves and we talked about putting the needs of others ahead of our own.

Mini-MoleSkin(because I’ve already said most everything): – Gentlemen it was an HONOR to lead y’all today – we had fun with British Accents, Southern American accents, Austrailian Accents.  We had to dodge a #FreakingTrain – I mean who else in the F3Nation can say that this morning??  Jordache slammed his knee at the parking deck and drew blood – a little too high intensity right there!  We sweated, we breathed hard, we pounded our dern pickles right there in downtown Hickory.  And we had a BLAST while bonding together just a bit more.  I love you guys!

Cropduster Out!

  1. Great job this morning and I had a lot of fun. The train crossing was a first (and hopefully last) time for me. The accents were hilarious!

  2. I got a COMMENT! Oh happy day! Running across that track, avoiding those safety arm things as they were coming down, hearing the roar of the train and not really knowing how close it was – that was a RUSH! I bet they didn’t have any Brits with Southern Accents at the Station this morning!?
