I never know how to write a Backblast for a run only event. There is typically little to no color to write about unless someone gets lost or falls. I chose a couple of streets that we had either not run on before or at least not often. I think the crowd appreciated the variety. Oh yea, we did have a little color after all. That color was yellow and happened in the street and fortunately it was dark (not that anyone would have seen much anyway).
We start with our COT:
YHC has been studying Luke 19 about the parable of the rich man and Lazarus. We spoke about the fact that the rich man would not see Lazarus even though he was at his gate every day. We need to be mindful of who is at our gate and look for opportunities to help and witness.
