WARMUP: Started @0400 at Howitzer, after a brief run in with the Hickory PD, 20 HIM’s met up downtown to embark on a 3 hour rolling beatdown, or ruck, stopping at the AO’s of hickory for a little R&R of block work, burpees, bearcrawls, BLIMPS, just some general beatdown fun! We moseyed, we sweat, we laughed, we suffered together, ate some banana’s, had a little bucked up energy, but, most importantly, we posted in the gloom together. Fitness? We did that! Fellowship? Oh yeah, it happened! Faith? You need some of that to finish! Thank you to all the guys that made it happen
THE THANG: 41 Dudes rolled up for a 4 part beatdown making sure we hit all the parts of the body and left no part untouched! It was awesome! Many jokes were made, pretty sure Cuz was drunk. 20 of 41 were definitely struggling. Too many good times were had to tell you about them all. Thank you to all the guys that made it happen, and a special thank you to Lil’ Sweet, without his help this thing wouldn’t have happened!
MARY: Some crazy joker, who was for sure on drugs, did something called a FALCON, which included something else called a Ninja Roll. It was done at a pace that can only be descibed as “Meth Speed”! Felt like the energizer bunny was trying to make you cramp and throw-up all at once!

Jay, I’m sorry but I’ll not be able to be there tomorrow. Betsy’s brother died this morning after a 2 year battle with cancer. I’m meeting with the family tomorrow morning to plan the funeral service. We also have to help attend to funeral home & cemetery details. The usual stuff, but it has to be done and I have to be there. I was (egotistically) looking forward to being there and speaking to the men. I would tell, because Betsy and I have both lost our brothers this month, to get right, live right, lead right, and leave right.
