King Saul’s army had 3000+ men. All of them were being tormented by a bully named Goliath. Then David stepped up and did something about it. I bet more than one of Saul’s soldiers were saying – “David is Completely Stupid and what he is doing is Utterly Pointless….He is going to get his ass kicked!” Did you know that David was the youngest of 8 boys?  – YHC is sure he knew a thing or two about getting his butt whipped. David heard the same taunts for 40 days that every soldier there heard from Goliath – Difference was, on day 41 he did something about it!!!!!

So – You going to let 2020 get you down? Or you gonna do something about it? Be like David – Do something Completely Stupid and Utterly Pointless in 2021. You may like it. You may get your butt handed to ya – either way you will get better. You can stand on the sidelines and get taunted, or you can step up and step out of your comfort zone. Make this year your Day 41! Do enough and you may win a sweet trophy at the 2021 F3 Foothills Christmas party. It will have been partying with Cousin Eddie for a year and likely have seen more crap than Lord Stanley’s Cup.

Speaking of CSAUP – here is your point schedule for this year. Note that it’s up to individual pax to let someone on the CSAUP committee (HBC, Markup, Flex, Banjo, Centerfold) to know when you have completed an event worth points. Also – and this is important – if the event has not yet been assigned a point value – the event must be submitted to the committee PRIOR to the event to determine its point value. Not all events are the same, and the committee will try its best to assign the appropriate value. Note this year – higher values for doing stupid stuff together. Iron sharpens Iron men – Get after it and get after it together! Also note that all your running, biking, rucking, etc. can get you points. So yes – even a 5k or 10k or even Pre Pre Pre run score you some points!! Keep track of em – Garmin and Strava (and many others) apps will help you with tracking. Be sure to turn them at the end of year to get your points logged (CSAUP committee will send out a reminder).
