To answer the title, Yes.

I shant opine about the history of Whipping Stick, the granddaddy of Hickory’s – I mean Foothills – AO’s.  In F3 Years, it’s almost as old as HBC.  Actually in terms of F3 age, HBC and WS are the same age.

As some might say, it’s been a month of Sundays since I reported for duty at Whipping Stick.  Couple of CSAUP stuff kept me away, a fartsack or two.  Throw in a case of the Morning Bourbon Flu and that should wrap up most of my excuses for not posting there.  In the spirit of full disclosure, I am not a fan of the No Q/Call It on the Fly Q Schedule policy over there so go ahead and add that to the list of reasons that I haven’t posted there as well.

Now that that’s out of the way, here’s what went down as I recall.  It’s been 3 days since it happened, so feel free to remind me of any other events that I missed.  Warmups:  thorough.  Plenty of shoulder stuff by TF.  Slow merkins, planks: High and Low, Mtn Climbers, Peter Parkers (maybe Parker Peters…add that to the list of exercises that I still don’t know until the Q starts them).

Wall stuff:  Muhamed Ali’s, Joe Fraziers, and other old boxers

8 Bike Rack Thrusters per dude.  Others did some work while we watched.

Indian Run around the parking lot, then down to the bottom of the stairs.

Bunny hop every other step, broad jumps on the flats, plank for the six.

Doughboy/TastyKakes/Dougboy took over the Volunteer Q.  Mosey to bottom of that long hill.  Rock work: curls, overhead press, squats, bench press, etc.  Rotated the rocks.  That’s a move that I like…took me a second to figure out that we weren’t passing the rocks though.  Rocks stayed put, pax moved.

Backwards runs, forward runs mixed in to get back to the top with stops to do work.

Stopped at the Pull Up Tree.  5 each.  I still suck at pull ups.  This should not come as a surprise to anyone at this point.

Before heading in to the flag: 10 burpees.
