This morning Mountain View was wrapped in a humid cloud of yuck and breathing was much like the first couple of breaths you take when you get the wind knocked out of you. It was awful so YHC figured it would be a great idea to run some sprints and do a bunch of burpees. We also did some on the job training for the new guys.
The thang;
The PAX moseyed to the large paved circle between the old folks home and the stowed up clinic. We did some SSH’s and some high knees. Daewoo led a couple and called out “Mericans” which means Merkins in Burke co. (B-, that’s an A+ for Burke co standards) Shark Bait Q’d a couple and this guy stepped in like Tom Brady did when Drew Bledsoe booked his apt at the ortho clinic next door. (A)
The PAX moseyed to the large parking lot and raced a couple of laps. Then raced some more and then did some burpees until we couldn’t breath then sprinted and did a few more burpees. Zebra gave a 10 count while the dizzies faded.
Next we moseyed to the low wall and did some decline Merkins. Velma was up next and in his defense, he showed up just after YHC went over the Q calls. He messed up the cadence worse than Cam Newtons post game interview. His second shot wasn’t much better, but hey, there’s always next Sunday. (D)
The PAX moseyed to the top of the hill. Zebra was up next and in a politically correct move, went with the standard bench presses and something else I can’t remember. No flags on that play. It’s not flashy but defense wins championships. (B) Last but not least was Daphne. Pretty sure Daphne likes squats. We did squats and jumps WITH blocks and YHC is pretty sure we have discovered the pinnacle of block/squat performance enhancement. (B+) (would be an A but YHC is not sure what he witnessed leaned more toward fitness or Advil and an ice bath)
The PAX did some dips and then more sprints and burpees and Asheville abs (led by Patti) then we did some more SSH’s, High Knees, butt kickers, and Mtn climbers.
